Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan are preparing to come together again after nine years. The two last worked together in the 2014 film Happy New Year. After which now both are going to do a film together. However, this time it looks like Shah Rukh and Farah will be seen working together as a producer and director.
According to the mid-day report, Shah Rukh is going to produce Farah Khan’s new masala film. Sources told the outlet, ‘Earlier, a studio was going to back it and the idea of making Shah Rukh Khan the headliner was also being discussed, but now there has been a change in the story.’ While Shah Rukh Khan’s production house, Red Chillies, is busy completing Atlee’s Jawan and making Aryan Khan’s new series, the studio has signed an initial deal with Farah.
If all goes well, it will be announced at the end of the year and its shooting may start by the end of 2023.It has to be seen whether Farah is able to cast Shah Rukh in the lead role or not. Farah and Shah Rukh are not only close friends but have also worked in all the films directed by him. He played the lead role in Farah’s directorial debut Main Hoon Na.This film was released in 2004 as well as the film proved to be a blockbuster.
After this, in 2007, both of them worked together again in their film ‘Om Shanti Om’. This film also proved to be a blockbuster. Both were last seen in the film ‘Happy New Year’ released in 2014.
