A case of fraud worth lakhs has come to light by making credit cards in the name of Bollywood and sports celebrities. Cyber Cell has busted a gang who used to cheat banks of lakhs by making fake credit cards in the name of film stars. It includes the names of a total of 98 celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai, Shilpa Shetty and Sonam Kapoor. This gang has so far committed fraud of more than 90 lakhs.

Celebrity’s company has been cheated of Rs 21.31 lakh by making credit cards using fake PAN cards and Aadhaar cards.Fraud of more than 90 lakhs in 2 yearsPolice has arrested 5 accused in this fraud case. One of the arrested accused has done B.Tech. Five checkbooks including 25 fake Aadhaar cards, 40 credit cards, ten mobiles, one laptop, 42 SIM cards, 34 fake PAN cards have been recovered from them. These people have cheated about 90 lakhs in the last 2 years.
